Father Brian L. Warchola is a native of Central City, PA and is the son of Larry and Fran. He is a 2000 graduate of Shade High School, a 2003 graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business College, a 2007 graduate with a BA in Catholic Theology, Saint Vincent Latrobe and a 2011 graduate of Saint Vincent Seminary with an Master of Divinity in Catholic Theology. He was ordained a transitional deacon on October 2nd, 2010 at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown. He was assigned to Resurrection Parish, Johnstown. On June 4th, 2011 he was ordained a priest at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona. His assignments include Parochial Vicar of Saint John Parish, Bellefonte and Saint Kateri, Tekawitha, Spring Mills and Sacramental Minister of SCI Rockview and Lock Haven University. In November of 2011 he was assigned as Parochial Vicar of Holy Name Parish, Ebensburg and was also chaplain of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. In 2015 he was assigned as Parochial Vicar of Saint Benedict Parish Johnstown and chaplain of Bishop McCort Catholic. In 2016 he was assigned as Parochial Administrator of Saint Michael Parish, Saint Michael PA and also contract chaplain of SCI Somerset. In July of 2019 he became pastor of Holy Name Parish and School.
